AewoFrame — Permission Description

AewoFrame is an SVG viewer and converter. We request only the permissions needed for features you choose to use. Most file work stays inside the App sandbox. We do not request Camera, Microphone, Location, Contacts, Tracking, or full Photo Library read access.

Permissions We Use

Photo Library — Add Only

Used

Used only when you convert a file to PNG or JPEG and keep Also save images to Photos turned on. AewoFrame requests write/add access so converted images can be saved to your library. The App does not browse or manage your existing photo library through this permission.

System prompt text:
“AewoFrame saves your converted PNG and JPEG images to your photo library when you choose to save exports to Photos.”

Features That Do Not Need Extra Permissions

Handled by system UI or local storage

Import from Photos Uses Apple’s PHPicker. You choose images in the system picker. AewoFrame does not need full Photo Library read permission.

My Files & Con Files SVG files and exports are stored in the App’s Documents sandbox on your device.

Share / Export Sheet Sharing uses the iOS share sheet. Destination apps handle their own permissions.

Coin Shop (IAP) Purchases go through Apple StoreKit. No additional device privacy permission is required.

When Permission Is Requested

Always tied to an action you start

Open a file → Convert → choose PNG and/or JPEG → leave Photos saving enabled → start conversion.
iOS then shows the Photo Library add-access prompt (first time only, or after you reset permission).
If you deny access, conversion can still finish inside Con Files, but saving to Photos will be skipped and an in-app notice may appear.
You can turn off “Also save images to Photos” before converting to avoid using this permission.

How to Change Permission Later

Managed in iOS Settings

Open Settings → AewoFrame → Photos on your iPhone.
Allow Add Photos Only if you want exports saved to Photos again.
Choose None if you prefer AewoFrame never write to Photos.
Clearing App data from the side menu deletes local files and coin balance; it does not by itself change iOS permission settings.

Data Handling Related to Permissions

What happens to your images

Imported images and generated SVG/exports stay on-device in the App sandbox unless you share them or save them to Photos.
Photos add access is used only to write the converted PNG/JPEG you requested.
AewoFrame does not use Photos access for advertising, facial recognition, or background scanning of your library.
